- How can I check my email?
- There are two basic ways to check your email, using your Web browser or POP for it.
- Using your Web browser
- Point your browser to the mail server associated with your domain: mail.yourdomain.com
For example, our mail server is mail.clearvisionpartners.com
- Type in your entire email address in the email address field (even though it still says “@yourdomain.com” you must input your whole address).
- Enter your password, click the Login button.
- Read your email. Hooray!
- Using POP
- POP is a common email protocol used to check/obtain email from another mail server using any email client. This allows you to set up Outlook, gmail, Yahoo or other email clients to send/receive your account email. Neat!
- Setting up your email client varies somewhat but essentially all clients require the same information. You'll always have to set your incoming server and SMTP server as “mail.yourdomain.com” and enter the username and password for the mailbox you want to check.
- Most clients have online assistance available to walk you through setting this up. Or simply give us a call and we'll be happy to walk you through it. This generally only takes about 3-5 minutes.
